Senior Dev Ops

As a Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining non-production and production workloads using AWS services: CloudFormation, EC2 (VPC, load balancing, etc), Elasticsearch, RDS (SQL Server), Route53, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, S3, CloudFront

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Understand the existing product and develop features using development standards
• Review product requirements in order to give development estimates and product feedback
• Apply technical expertise to challenging architecture and design problems

Key Requirements for this Role:

• 5+ years of strong experience in DevOps Engineering
• Building applications/infrastructure in AWS using key services: CloudFormation, EC2 (VPC, load balancing etc.), 
• Should have experience in Elasticsearch, RDS (SQL Server), Route53, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, S3, CloudFront, EKS. 
• Developing PowerShell scripts/modules to support automated build and deployment
• Creating and maintaining build configurations/templates to support CI/CD processes using TeamCity
• Using and maintaining git repositories and also supporting release management activities
• Transitioning existing infrastructure to a container-based architecture
• non-production and production environments
• Ensuring the security of all application infrastructure is maintained at all times
• Monitoring and maintaining, troubleshooting application and/or infrastructure issues in both non-production and production environments

Good to have:

• Implementing production deployment strategies (i.e. blue/green, canary etc.)
• Maintaining production-grade MongoDB clusters
• Developing applications using relevant technologies/frameworks (i.e. Node.js, .NET, .NET Core)
• Developing, configuring and maintaining applications using Kubernetes (preferably using EKS)
• Maintaining SQL Server database instances/databases
• Working in and with teams using Agile methodologies
